Welcome to the Chamber Orchestra of the South Bay!
The COSB is a fully-professional orchestra, which is resident
at the Norris Center for the Performing Arts, 27570 Norris Center Drive, on
the Palos Verdes Peninsula. Under Music Director FRANCES STEINER, it gives
a basic five-concert season at the Norris Center, which for the past eight
years has been "subscribed-out". The COSB has been recognized in four awards
from the National Endowment for the Arts. Recently, the COSB received the
2009 Community Service Award from the Palos Verdes Peninsula Coordinating
Council, which states:" In Appreciation for its founding as the Resident Professional
Classical Orchestra of the Norris Center, and for its significant and unique
contribution to the Cultural Life of the Palos Verdes Peninsula Commuity."
The COSB is subscribed-out" for the 2011-12 season, and returned subscriber
tickets are available through a waiting list at the Norris Box Office, 310-544-0403
