As a first course in robotics, emphasis is placed on building a basic robot, understanding basic computer programming, and integrating (assembling) switches, sensors, actuators, servo motors to form a working robotic unit. This class is designed for students 14 and up. Course objectives: Students will learn to describe the functions of switches, sensors, actuators, and servos. In addition, they will also write a robotic program using learned algorithms. Students will utilize tools and electronic measuring equipment to build anad program a fully functional robot. |
