*Years of Peace* ( 1918 - 1941 )

   
After World War I, military aviation was turned to civilian use. With so many young men trained as aviators, the interest in aviation was kept alive. Air-minded people made daring long distance flights and aviation companies designed and built faster and better airplanes to meet the public demand. This period was known as the GOLDEN AGE OF AVIATION.
