The Problem

The problem began in 1997, when the FAA began to direct loud propellor driven (turboprop) aircraft leaving LAX over the Peninsula.  Many residents complained, and a the FAA created a Task Force to study the problem.  Solutions were proposed, but nothing was implemented on a permanent basis.

Now, we're experiencing even more noise, from both jets and propellor driven (turboprop) aircraft.  And the problem is getting worse, as the FAA diverts more air traffic from other areas over our community.

More routes over the Peninsula are being "tested" by the FAA right now, and will become permanent if our community doesn't make its voice heard.
