Bend Community Association Present: Parks, Himmelwright, Siegel, and Porter Minutes of 4 October were approved as submitted. Treasurer’s report: Treasurer’s reports for September and October were received and approved. Correspondence: Discussed as a part of the President’s report, below PW West: Nothing to report PW East: The dead tree near Sweetbay and Peppertree has been removed. Access Control: No report RS W: Work has begun at the Narcissa Gate with funds from the City Beautification grant. In the process, a sewer line was hit, which will be repaired by the contractor when replacement pieces for the lines are found. The lines are 1 1⁄4” and these are not readily available. We have been trying to get bids from street sweepers but none have been offered so far. Community members helped clear mud and debris from the roads last weekend. Other methods for keeping the roads clean were discussed. President’s report: Thank-you to the community members who helped to clean the roads last weekend. City liaison / RDA: nothing to report Old Business: 1. The timeline proposed by the Architecture Committee for enforcement procedures was approved 4-0. See attached. 2. Nothing to report regarding the addition of land to the Community Association. 3. By consensus it was agreed that Porter would continue drafting standards for construction of sheds. New Business: Excessive dumping of material/fill dirt up Peppertree and through the Peppertree entrance has damaged the road and possibly the gate. The resident responsible for the dumping will be responsible for the repairs. Meeting adjourned at 9:05 |
