Minutes of the Board Meeting
6 June 2005

Called to Order: 7:35 pm by Porter.
Present: Porter, Himelwright, and Cooper.

Minutes of 2 May 2005 were approved as submitted.

Treasurer’s report: Treasurer’s report for May was received and approved as submitted.

Correspondence: Received anonymous letter regarding parties up Vanderlip Drive. Received notice of set construction and filming on property to the west of us to take place in July and August.

Roads: Work on Limetree not completed, hopefully next month it will be. Some patching was done on Sweetbay.

Bids are still being taken for major roadwork on Peppertree. Companies contacted so far (D & G and South Bay Paving- Hawthorne Paving declined to bid) will not grind down the road surface. Shamrock Asphalt will be contacted next. The recent rains have accelerated the movement along Peppertree.

Roadsides: Cooper- Ornamental stone will be placed this month at the Narcissa Gate. Debris along Narcissa has been cleaned.

Access Control: no report

President’s report: None

City liaison / RDA: nothing to report

Old Business: It was moved, seconded and passed to start the repaving along Peppertree, with the PBCA doing much of the road prep work first.

New Business: There was discussion regarding the hiring of a security guard at the gates at least on weekends.

Audience: Concerns were heard about the keeping of bees.
