to Order: 7:25 pm by Porter. Minutes of August 7, 2006 were approved. Treasurer’s report: The treasurer’s report for August l was received and approved. Roads: Starting on Limetree this week. Roadsides: West side water bill has shot up again, will check sprinklers again. Access Control: surveillance cameras installed. Need adjusting and possible another camera at Peppertree. The Peppertree gate needs repairs and adjusting. Likely the sensor is buried too deeply. President’s report: none City liaison / RDA: none Old Business: It was reaffirmed unanimously that the tax rate for the upcoming year will be increase by 5%. A City Beautification Grant in the amount of $3000 was granted for work near the Peppertree Gate. New Business: Porter provided information regarding the Cullen Earthquake Act with respect to reassessment of property line after large-scale movement of land. It was suggested that perhaps the community could make use of this act when land movement is halted. Communications: decisions regarding the running of the association are made during those meetings.
