Minutes, PBCA Architectural Committee, 7:30 pm 19 July 2004

The minutes of the 5 July 2004 meeting were approved.

OLD BUSINESS:

  • 3 Ginger Root.Discussion only.No letter yet from the owner.A tractor has been removed from the site, but not the trailer.
  • 7 Plumtree.No new information.No indication that escrow has closed.
  • 3 Figtree.Discussion only.Awaiting action by the city to complete.The owner has agreed to take down the bamboo matting from the fence.
  • Debris at 68 Narcissa.Some progress has been made, and clean-up continues.May not be complete by the 20 July deadline requested in our recent letter.
  • 35 Cherryhill.Received photos from owner, shed is a commercial pre-fab unit, owner described dimensions as 10’ x 12’.Letter sent; no written response yet.Some screening via shrubbery has commenced.
  • 22 Narcissa.Set-back was reviewed by both the committee and the City, and deemed proper.
  • 3 Clovetree.Trailer has been removed.
  • 18 Cinnamon, unofficial speed limit sign on Cinnamon.Letter received back from owner.Will be discussed at the next Board meeting.
  • * Shed guidelines.Casey Porter will report out the proposed shed guidelines at the next meeting.
  • 35 Narcissa.Verbal commitment from owner agreeing that no one will be living in his shed.
  • 25 Sweetbay.No response to letter.Trailer is still there.

NEW BUSINESS:

  • 19 Sweetbay.Tractor, camper, manure, etc.Committee (Burt) will talk to tenant.
  • 20 Sweetbay.RV parked in driveway, visible from street.Referred to the board.
  • 5 Ginger Root.Trailer in driveway, visible from street.Referred to the board.
  • 16 Cinnamon.Trailer next house, visible from street.Referred to the board.
  • 11 Figtree.Debris.Site investigation by Committee member revealed that view is clear from neighbor house, but some container is visible from backyard / patio.Owner is in litigation with city over container, and will not do anything further with the container until said litigation is concluded.
  • Lot on Narcissa, across from “Ride to Fly”.Shed is unscreened.No information filed with Committee.Committee (Siegel) will follow-up with owner.

General discussion:  The topic of shipping containers on properties was discussed.
