Minutes from 2 August approved
3.
Old business:
- 3
Ginger Root. No progress.
- 7
Plumtree. Per report from owner, escrow on the adjacent lot should
clear soon. Owner is still planning to work with the Association
to bring this lot
into the Association.
- 3 Figtree. Owner
still working with City. # 68 Narcissa. More progress on clean-up,
but not yet complete
- Lot and storage,
19 Sweetbay. Letter from tenant and owner received, with plan. Will
get copies to each Committee
member, and discuss
at next meeting.
- Letter from Greenberg,
Fields, and Whitcombe, LLP. Referred to the Board at the previous
meeting. Will be discussed
at the Board
meeting
that immediately
follows this meeting.
- Response from
Board letters regarding trailers, etc. 1 letter has been sent, and
5 phone calls made. One
already gone, one
owner reported
the
trailer was
to be sold, two others plan to create additional screening.
PB Riding Club states that they believe that they were “grandfathered” by
a previous Board, and will provide us a copy of the documentation.
Mrs. Petak came in
with a letter
proposing two alternatives; copies of the letter will be
made for the Committee, a site visit will be made, and it
will be
discussed
at a
future meeting. The
idea of setting a standard timeline for responses was raised,
and will be discussed at a future meeting.
- Possible unauthorized
duplex. Referred to the Board at the previous meeting.
Will be discussed at the Board meeting
that
immediately
follows this meeting.
4. New business:
- Storage,
vacant lot, 4 Peppertree. Photographs appear to show a lot of trash
and debris, which could be a fire
hazard.
A site
visit will
be made,
and the
Committee will get in touch with the owner.
- Cars
stored and parked on the street – 7 Fruitree. It was
reported that a car or cars have been parked
for months without being used.
A letter or phone
call with the owner will be undertaken.
- Dead
tree, Sweetbay and Peppertree. Determined not to be within the
boundaries of the Association.
Owner
may
be willing
to share
the cost
of removal.
- Old gardening
containers along lower Narcissa. It was stated that these have been
there
for a while, and probably
belong
to the Wayfarer’s
Chapel.
5. Audience
participation: Apparently
excessive speed on our roads was both discussed, and a topic of some
letters / EMails. The Board is looking
at this
issue.
6. Adjoun: 7:55 pm.
Next meeting: 4 October 2004.
