Portuguese Bend Community Association Called to Order: 7:05 pm by Porter. Minutes of September 10 were approved. Treasurer’s report: Treasurer’s report from September was received and filed. Roads: East- Asphalt still needed on Tangerine and Limetree and Limetree needs widening. A plan and cost estimate still must be obtained. We need to get going on this. West- Damage caused by a leaking sprinkler pipe has on Narcissa has been filled temporarily. Roadsides: West & East- No report. Rain helped water some of the plants. President’s report: City liaison / RDA No report. Old Business: A meeting of the Board with the attorney will take place this month. New Business: Communications: Audience: Gordon Leon updated the Board on the City’s PUMP Committee activities as they pertain to the Association. He encouraged participation in the City’s trail planning process. The City has hired a firm to do GPS studies in the area. Bob McGee Engineering and Consulting is the name of the firm. There was discussion with Bob Halderman regarding the Cullen Act and whether it applies or not to our situation. The City seems to feel it does not. Meeting adjourned at 7:50 pm. |
