Welcome to RPV Channel 33!  Channel 33 is an educational access channel provided by the cable television franchise agreement between the City of Rancho Palos Verdes and COX Communications.

In December 2002, the RPV City Council adopted a resolution directing COX Communications to establish an educational access channel authorized per franchise. Channel 33 is dedicated as RPV’s Educational Access Channel and home of RPV Channel 33 on Cox basic cable channel line-up. The mission and goals for RPV City TV, as adopted by the RPV City Council are: 1) to provide educational programming and useful information, which is of particular value to the residents of Rancho Palos Verdes, in programs that are produced or commissioned by the City; and 2) to provide educational opportunities for students to learn pre-production, production and post-production of programs that are to be broadcast on Channel 33. RPV Channel 33 is a public asset sponsored by the City of RPV benefiting both residents and students. Channel 33 will air timely announcements and urgent information, as well as locally produced programs of interest, while providing unique educational opportunities for students and collaborations with the community.
