Set an interview date of August 6^th at 6:00 P.M. to interview the candidates for the position of chair of the Open Space, Planning and Parks and Rec. Task Force.

At the May 21^st meeting the City Council appointed 16 members to the Open Space, Planning and Parks & Recreation Task Force. Also on that date, the Council appointed Carol Hildreth as the interim chair of the task force to serve until after the July Fourth celebration, after that it was their intention to interview members interested in serving as chair for the next year.

The task force members have been requested to send notification to the City Clerk’s Office if they are interested in interviewing for the position of chair.

When Council appointed the 16 member task force and an interim chair on May 21 it was their intent to appoint a new chair after the July Fourth celebration. Council now needs to set a date to interview those members who have indicated a desire to serve in that capacity.
