SUBJECT: AN UPDATE ON THE CONSTRUCTION OF PALOS VERDES DRIVE SOUTH

RECOMMENDATION

Receive a report on the construction of Palos Verdes Drive South, and other construction activities from the developers of the Ocean Trails Development.

DISCUSSION

As part of the Ocean Trails development Palos Verdes Drive South from La Rotonda Drive to Schooner Drive will be reconstructed. All costs associated with the new roadway will be the responsibility of the developer. The City will inspect the construction to assure that it meets City standards and that impacts to motorists are minimized.

This evening Ocean Trails has been asked to make a presentation about the project with particular emphasis on the benefits of the new roadway, and construction impacts.
