TO:HONORABLE MAYOR AND MEMBERS OF CITY COUNCIL FROM:DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS DATE:MARCH 4, 2003 SUBJECT:NOTICE OF COMPLETION – PVIC STORM DRAIN PROJECT Staff Coordinator: Nicole Jules, Sr. Engineer RECOMMENDATIONS:
BACKGROUND & ANALYSIS On October 15, 2002, City Council awarded a contract to SRD Engineering, Inc. for the construction of the Point Vicente Interpretive Center Storm Drain Project. Pursuant to the approved contract, the work has been satisfactorily completed at the following cost:
After the Army Corps of Engineers completed the remediation process, the final topography of the site created a need for an additional storm drain inlet to prevent runoff waters flowing over the bluff. FISCAL IMPACT The recommended action will have no fiscal impact. CONCLUSION SRD Engineering, Inc. has successfully completed all work in accordance with the plans and specifications. Therefore, the work should be accepted as complete and a Notice of Completion filed. Respectfully Submitted, ___________________________ Reviewed, _________________________ Attachments: |
