BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION On November 28, 2002, Mr. Benjamin Konell was allegedly involved in a bicycle riding incident on Palos Verdes Drive South in the vicinity of Portuguese Bend. According to the claim, Mr. Konell sustained bodily injury and other damages as the result of a dangerous roadway condition. The claim is for $1 million. A copy of the claim is attached.
