TO: HONORABLE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL MEMBERS FROM: SENIOR ADMINISTRATIVE ANALYST DATE: MAY 6, 2003 SUBJECT: CLAIM AGAINST THE CITY BY GENEVIEVE MORRIS RECOMMENDATION Reject the claim and direct staff to notify the claimant. BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION On October 17, 2002, Ms. Genevieve Morris allegedly tripped and fell on the sidewalk adjacent to 5541 Elmbank Road. The claimant sustained bodily injury and other damages to exceed $10,000. A copy of the claim is attached.
