RECOMMENDATION:

Consider a request for endorsement of the Palos Verdes Peninsula Unified School District Measure P Parcel Tax.

BACKGROUND:

The Palos Verdes Peninsula Unified School District has placed Measure P, a parcel tax, on the June 3, 2003 ballot. A committee of volunteers, the Campaign for Peninsula Schools, has asked to address the City Council regarding Measure P.

DISCUSSION:

A letter from the Campaign for Peninsula Schools Committee is attached along with other materials provided by the Committee.
