SUBJECT: CLAIM AGAINST THE CITY BY PETER AND FARZANAH PARSA

RECOMMENDATION

Reject the claim and direct staff to notify the claimant.

BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION

This claim is for indemnity and apportionment of fault arising out of tree root damage to a neighbor’s hardscape and driveway allegedly caused by trees on City property and Parsa’s property. The claim is for $6,550. A copy of the claim is attached.

The City’s Claims Administrator, Carl Warren & Company has advised the City to reject the claim.
