BACKGROUND & ANALYSIS On August 6, 2002, City Council awarded a contract to Colich & Sons, Inc. for the construction of the 25th Street Rehabilitation Project. Pursuant to the approved contract, the work has been satisfactorily completed at the following cost:
Change Orders and line item adjustments for this project comprised 14% of total construction cost. Change orders included purchase of HDPE flanges, redesign of 25th Street to match the future realigned Palos Verdes Drive South as part of the Ocean Trails Improvements, and redesign of storm drain line 2 to incorporate change in design elevations due to land movement. FISCAL IMPACT The recommended action will have no fiscal impact. CONCLUSION Colich & Sons, Inc. has successfully completed all work in accordance with the plans and specifications for this project. Therefore, the work should be accepted as complete and a Notice of Completion filed. Respectfully Submitted,
