SUBJECT: CLAIM AGAINST THE CITY BY GAIL MAYER
Reject the claim and direct staff to notify the claimant.
The claimant alleges the City’s contractor installed concrete material for partial curb, gutter and sidewalk repairs adjacent to the Mayer’s residence that is inconsistent in color with the original concrete surrounding the repair work. The claim damages are for an unspecified amount; the claimant requests a complete replacement of the new concrete to match the color of the original concrete.
A copy of the claim is attached.
The City’s Claims Administrator, Carl Warren & Company, has advised the City to reject the claim.
