SUBJECT: CLAIM AGAINST THE CITY BY WILLDAN CORPORATION

RECOMMENDATION

Reject the claim and direct staff to notify the claimant.

BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION

The claim is for indemnity from the City. The claimant was recently added as a defendant to the Ho. V. City of Rancho Palos Verdes, State of California, CALTRANS, and Jennifer Cohn lawsuit. The amount has not been determined at this time.

A copy of the claim is attached.

The City’s Claims Administrator, Carl Warren & Company, has advised the City to reject the claim.
