RECOMMENDATION
Reject the claim and direct staff to notify the claimant.
BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION
The Law Offices of Baker, Oring, and Inferrera represent the claimant. The claimant allegedly encountered a speed hump while riding his bicycle on Ocean Grove Drive, a privately owned street, and sustained personal injuries on April 28, 2004. The claim amount is $152,000. A copy of the claim is attached.
The City’s Claims Administrator, Carl Warren & Company, has advised the City to reject the claim.
