SUBJECT: STATUS OF CITY COUNCIL TACTICAL GOALS FOR 2004 - 2005
RECOMMENDATION:
Review current Tactical Planning Goals and Revise, Update and Add to the Goals as determined through City Council and staff discussion.
BACKGROUND:
In January, 2004 the City Council and senior staff met in a Tactical Planning Workshop to discuss and prioritize goals for the next two years. At the time the goals were established the Council directed staff to prepare quarterly status reports. On July 20, 2004, the date the last Status Report was presented to the City Council for discussion, the Council directed staff to make monthly reports and include them in the weekly Administrative Report rather than bring quarterly reports to the Council. Therefore there has been no City Council discussion of the goals for over six months.
DISCUSSION:
Attached is the current status of the four Tactical Planning Goals established on January 10, 2004.
