SUBJECT: TRANSFER OF SURFACE TRANSPORTATION FUNDS FROM CITY OF ROLLING HILLS

RECOMMENDATION

Authorize the City Clerk to execute an agreement with the City of Rolling Hills regarding the transfer of Surface Transportation Program Funds from the City of Rolling Hills.

BACKGROUND

In late 2003 staff was notified by the City of Rolling Hills that they had excess State Transportation Program Funds available and that they would consider requests from the cities of Rolling Hills Estates and Rancho Palos Verdes. Staff requested and the City of Rolling Hills approved the transfer of $15,775. The attached agreement is required for the fund transfer.

CONCLUSION

Adopting the staff recommendation will authorize the City Clerk to execute the transfer agreement and will lead to the City receiving $15,775 in roadway funding.

FISCAL IMPACT

The recommended actions will increase available funding for roadway projects.
