SUBJECT: CLAIM AGAINST THE CITY BY RUDY MAUS ET. AL.
Reject the claim and direct staff to notify the claimant.
The claimant alleges the City failed to maintain the storm drainage system and as a result flooded the home was flooded during a rainstorm on February 19, 2005. The claim damage amount is estimated in excess of $200,000. A copy of the claim is attached.
The City’s Claims Administrator, Carl Warren and Company, has advised the City to reject the claim.
