RANCHO PALOS VERDES CITY COUNCIL
MONDAY, NOVEMBER 21, 2005
The meeting was called to order at 7:00 P.M. by Mayor Clark at Fred Hesse Community Park, 29301 Hawthorne Boulevard, Rancho Palos Verdes, notice having been given with affidavit thereto on file.
Roll call was answered as follows:
PRESENT: Gardiner, Wolowicz, Clark
ABSENT: Stern and Long (excused)
Also present were City Manager Les Evans (acting as City Clerk/Recording Secretary) and Acting City Attorney Gina Danner.
The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Acting City Attorney Gina Danner.
APPROVAL OF AGENDA:
Councilman Gardiner moved, seconded by Mayor pro tem Wolowicz, to approve the Agenda.
Mayor Pro Tem Wolowicz moved, seconded by Councilman Gardiner, to approve the Consent Calendar.
The motion to approve the Consent Calendar carried on the following roll call vote:
AYES: Gardiner, Wolowicz, Clark
At 7:05 p.m. Council recessed to closed session. At 7:37 P.M., the meeting was reconvened for regular session.
CLOSED SESSION REPORT:
Acting City Attorney Danner reported no action was taken and the matter concerning the property negotiation was continued to December 6, 2005. She stated that Mayor Pro Tem Wolowicz and Councilman Gardiner (the negotiating team) were authorized to advise the owner of this outcome by letter.
Mayor Pro Tem Wolowicz asked if there would be more property acquisition necessary to support the master plan drainage improvements.
City Manager Evans advised him that there would likely be more.
Mayor Pro Tem Wolowicz asked for a list of the properties that would be required.
City Manager Evans said he would discuss the possibility of preparing such a list with the Director of Public Works.
Mayor Clark adjourned the meeting at 7:38 P.M
