RECOMMENDATION
Reject the claim and direct staff to notify the claimants.
BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION
The claimant alleges that her dog was frightened by a fireworks display and injured itself while attempting to escape from the property at 4110 Maritime Road on March 5, 2006.
The claim is in the amount of $402.39 for medical expenses. A copy of the claimant’s letter is attached.
The City’s Claims Administrator, Carl Warren and Company, has reviewed this claim and advised the City to reject the claim.
