SUBJECT: CLAIM AGAINST THE CITY BY PATRICK KELSEY

RECOMMENDATION
Reject the claim and direct staff to notify the claimants.

BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION
At the September 19, 2006 City Council meeting, Council directed this item be continued.

The claimant alleges damage to his lateral sewer line near 2122 General Street due to tree roots. The claim is in the amount of $11,376.94 for repair expenses. A copy of the claim is attached.

The City’s Claims Administrator, Carl Warren and Company, has reviewed this claim and advised the City to reject the claim.
