A.        EMERGENCY STORM DRAIN PROJECT

1.         Mossbank Storm Drain Rehabilitation (Bell)
            Recommendation: Review and reconfirm by a four/fifths (4/5) vote, the Council’s previous action on August 21, 2007, authorizing staff to proceed with emergency repairs to the Mossbank Drive storm drain.

B.        OTHER CONSENT CALENDAR ITEMS:

2.         Motion to Waive Full Reading
Recommendation: Adopt a motion to waive reading in full of all ordinances presented at this meeting with consent of the waiver of reading deemed to be given by all Council Members after the reading of the title. 

3.         Adoption of Ordinance No. 464, A Zone Change for a Portion of 3324 Seaclaire Drive from OH to RS-3 [Applicant: Gulian Design; Landowner: Jovan & Lisa Vavic] (Kim)
Recommendation: ADOPT ORDINANCE NO. 464, AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RANCHO PALOS VERDES, APPROVING A ZONE CHANGE (CASE NO. ZON2007-00134) FOR 3324 SEACLAIRE DRIVE (THE EXISTING BUILDING PAD PORTION OF THE PROPERTY) FROM OPEN SPACE HAZARD (OH) TO SINGLE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL (RS-3).

4.         Register of Demands (McLean)
Recommendation: ADOPT RESOLUTION NO. 2007-___, A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO PALOS VERDES, ALLOWING CERTAIN CLAIMS AND DEMANDS AND SPECIFYING FUNDS FROM WHICH THE SAME ARE TO BE PAID.

REGULAR NEW BUSINESS:

5.         Rancho Palos Verdes Coast Vision Plan – Final Public Workshop (Mihranian)

Recommendation:

1) Receive public testimony and provide feedback on the Vision Plan’s final design schemes for the following key sites:

a) Lower Point Vicente (including the Companion Animal Center);
b) The Gateway Park (including the Equestrian Center);
c) Del Cerro Park;
d) Upper Point Vicente;
e) Abalone Cove;

2) Review and provide feedback on the Vision Plan Design/Sign Guidelines; and, 3) Direct Staff to finalize the Vision Plan for presentation to the City Council for adoption in February 2008.
