Recommendation: 1) Select Athens Services (Arakelian Enterprises, Inc.) as the City’s designated residential solid waste provider for Service Area 1 commencing July 1, 2010; and, 2) Approve an annual $85,000 Contract Administration Fee within the rate structure to cover any unanticipated extraordinary rate adjustment requests, and contract administration costs or legal reviews related to the Athens Services agreement.
