ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING
RANCHO PALOS VERDES CITY COUNCIL
FEBRUARY 24, 2007

The meeting was called to order at 9:12 A.M. by Mayor Long in the Multipurpose Room at the Point Vicente Interpretive Center, 31501 Palos Verdes Drive West, notice having been given with affidavit thereto on file.

PRESENT: Clark, Gardiner, Stern, Wolowicz and Mayor Long
ABSENT: None

Also present was City Attorney Carol Lynch.

PUBLIC COMMENTS:

None.

RECESS TO CLOSED SESSION:

The City Council recessed to closed session to discuss potential litigation and conduct interviews of City Manager candidates.

RECONVENE TO OPEN SESSION:

The City Council reconvened to open session.

CLOSED SESSION REPORT:

City Attorney Lynch reported that Council unanimously decided not to initiate litigation against Caltrans and the State of California regarding Caltrans' failure to reimburse the City for the expenditure that the City made to repair the sinkhole within and under Western Avenue at Westmont and unanimously decided to extend an offer of employment to one of the candidates.

ADJOURNMENT:

Mayor Long declared the meeting adjourned at 2:13 P.M.
