CRIME SUMMARY
Crimes reported during this time period in the City of Rancho Palos Verdes included one strong-arm robbery, one residential burglary, three vehicle burglaries, two other structure burglaries, two grand thefts, two acts of vandalism and one attempt vandalism.

February 14
Vehicle Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown cut a convertible top and stole a backpack from a vehicle in the subterranean garage of a complex in the 32700 block of Seagate Drive.
Vehicle Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown stole a radar detector and a toolbox from a car in the parking area of a complex in the 6600 block of Beachview Drive. There was no sign of forced entry.
Vehicle Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown stole a cellular phone and three cameras from a car in the parking area of a complex in the 6500 block of Beachview Drive. There was no sign of forced entry.
Other Structure Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown stole a 2003 Ford
Explorer from the detached garage of a home in the 3900 block of Admirable Drive. There was no sign of forced entry.
Residential Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown removed a screen, climbed through a window, and stole a laptop computer and U.S. currency from a home in the 27100 block of Grayslake Road.
Other Structure Burglary (weekend) - Person(s) unknown cut three padlocks and entered a storage container at a construction site in the 30300 block of Diamonte Lane. A toolbox was removed from the container but was found a short distance away.
February 16
Grand Theft - A victim reported that between January 1st - February 16th, person(s) stole a canvas bag containing U.S. coins from the garage of a home in the 3400 block of Newridge Drive. There was no sign of forced entry.
February 17
Strong-arm Robbery (evening) - A male suspect, known by the victim, used physical force to take a female victim's wallet during an altercation at a home in the 27400 block of Fawnskin Drive. The suspect was taken into custody when deputies arrived at the location.
February 19
Grand Theft (daytime) - Person(s) unknown stole a laptop computer from an unlocked vehicle in a parking lot in the 31200 block of Palos Verdes Drive West.
