Weekly Activity Report for March 20 through March 26, 2005

CRIME SUMMARY                        

Crimes reported during this time period in the City of Rancho Palos Verdes included four residential burglaries, three vehicle burglaries, one other structure burglary, one felonious assault and four acts of vandalism.

ARRESTS

March 20

Vehicle Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown broke a window and stole a video monitor from a vehicle in the 28700 block of Mount Langley Court. 

Felonious Assault (daytime) - A male suspect stole several items from a supermarket in the 30000 block of Hawthorne Boulevard.  The suspect ran to a red car driven by a female suspect. The female suspect attempted to run over the victim (employee) as she tried to block the suspects path while fleeing the location.

March 21

Vehicle Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown broke a window and stole

several items a vehicle in a parking lot in the 28900 block of Western Avenue.

Residential Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown broke a garage window, forced the inside entry door open, and stole numerous items from a home in the 28300 block of Lomo Drive.  

Residential Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown forced a window open and stole U.S. currency and a camera from a home in the 2700 block of Whitestone Road.

Residential Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown removed a screen, climbed in a window, and stole numerous items from a home in the 28000 block of Lomo Drive.  

 

March 22

Residential Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown stole a woman's wallet from an unlocked vehicle in the open garage of a home in the 1700 block of Kingsdown Court.

March 24

Vehicle Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown broke a window and stole a laptop computer and a briefcase from a car in the 1800 block of Caddington Drive.

Other Structure Burglary (daytime) - A male suspect stole several tools from the garage of a church in the 5400 block of Crest Road.  The suspect fled in a blue van after being seen by an employee.
