CRIME SUMMARY
Crimes reported during this time period in the City of Rancho Palos Verdes included four vehicle burglaries, one other structure burglary, one grand theft (auto), two grand thefts, one petty theft, one mail theft and three acts of vandalism.

April 10
Other Structure Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown stole jewelry and several other items from a locked vehicle in the underground parking area of a complex in the 6500 block of Oceancrest Drive. There was no sign of forced entry into the vehicle.
Grand Theft (auto) (overnight) - A 2002 Cadillac Escalade was stolen from the driveway of a home in the 2200 block of Rue Le Charlene.
April 13
Vehicle Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown broke a window and stole a car stereo from a vehicle in the 28500 block of Vista Madera.
Vehicle Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown damaged a door lock and stole car stereo from a vehicle in the 1900 block of General Street.
April 14
Grand Theft (overnight) - Person(s) unknown stole several items from an unlocked vehicle in the 26800 block of Basswood Avenue.
Vehicle Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown broke a window and stole a laptop computer from a vehicle in the 26800 block of Basswood Avenue.
April 15
Vehicle Burglary (nighttime) - Person(s) unknown stole a G.P.S. unit from a locked vehicle in the 6200 block of Via Canada. There was no sign of forced entry.
April 16
Grand Theft (overnight) - Person(s) unknown stole U.S. currency from an unlocked vehicle in the driveway of a home in the 6200 block of Moongate Drive.
