Crimes reported during this time period in the City of Rancho Palos Verdes included one vehicle burglary, one residential burglary, one felonious assault, two grand thefts, three petty thefts and one act of vandalism.
Felonious Assault - 1 Vehicle Laws - 2
Residential Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown stole a bicycle from the open garage of a home in the 1700 block of Oldstone Court.
Grand Theft (weekend) - Person(s) unknown stole jewelry from a home in the 4300 block of Via Frascati. There was no sign of forced entry.
Vehicle Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown broke a window and stole a laptop computer and an "IPOD" from a vehicle in the driveway of a home in the 2800 block of Calle Aventura.
Felonious Assault (morning) - A male suspect stole a 1993 Toyota pickup from the 2300 block of Colt Road. The victim saw his vehicle a short time later being driven on Miraleste Drive. A female suspect in another car, was arrested after purposely ramming her car into the victim's vehicle while attempting to flee. The male suspect jumped out of the car and fled on foot.
Grand Theft (nighttime) - Person(s) unknown stole a cellular phone and an "IPOD" from an car in the 1900 block of Caddington Drive.
