CRIME SUMMARY

Crimes reported during this time period in the City of Rancho Palos Verdes included one residential burglary, three vehicle burglaries, one felonious assault, two grand thefts, one petty theft and one act of vandalism.

July 17

Vehicle Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown forced a door open and stole several items from a vehicle in the driveway of a home in the 28700 block of Mount Rose Road.

July 18

Felonious Assault (daytime) - A male suspect and a female suspect were arrested after striking each other during an altercation at a home in the 3300 block of Narino Drive.

Grand Theft (overnight) - Person(s) unknown stole a car stereo and a camera from an unlocked vehicle in the driveway of a home on Chaparral Lane.

Vehicle Burglary (nighttime) - Person(s) unknown forced a door open and stole a car stereo system from a vehicle in a parking lot in the 28900 block of Western Avenue.

July 19

Vehicle Burglary - A victim reported that between July 5th and 19th, person(s) unknown stole a car stereo from a locked vehicle in the driveway of a home in the 6600 block of Via Paloma. There was no sign of forced entry.

July 22

Residential Burglary (nighttime) - Person(s) unknown pried a door open and entered the garage of a home in the 31000 block of Marne Drive. Nothing appeared to have been taken.

July 23

Grand Theft (overnight) - Person(s) unknown stole an air compressor from the driveway of a home in the 27800 block of Palos Verdes Drive East. A cellular phone and charger were also taken from an unlocked vehicle in the driveway.
