Weekly Activity Report of August 21 to August 27, 2005

CRIME SUMMARY

Crimes reported during this time period in the City of Rancho Palos Verdes included three residential burglaries, one other structure burglary, one grand theft, two petty thefts and seven acts of vandalism.

ARRESTS

August 21

Residential Burglary (overnight/daytime) - Person(s) unknown stole computer equipment and a saw from a home on Saddle Road. Entry was most likely ained through an open door.

Residential Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown broke a window and stole jewelry from a home in the 5100 block of Elkmont Drive.

August 24

Residential Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown stole an electronic medical device from a room at a complex in the 29600 block of Western Avenue.

August 25

Grand Theft (nighttime) - Person(s) unknown stole two surf boards, a laptop computer and several other items from a home in the 27600 block of Eldena Drive during a party being held at the location.

August 27

Other Structure Burglary - A victim reported that between August 22nd and
27th, person(s) unknown stole a cellular phone and CD's from a locked vehicle in the subterranean garage of a complex in the 28100 block of Peacock Ridge Drive. There was no sign of forced entry into the vehicle
