CRIME SUMMARY

Crimes reported during this time period in the City of Rancho Palos Verdes included two residential burglaries, one vehicle burglary, one felonious assault, one grand theft (auto), two grand thefts, two petty thefts and three acts of vandalism.

September 4

Grand Theft (overnight) - Person(s) unknown stole golf equipment and a man's wallet from an unlocked vehicle in the driveway of a home in the 2100 block of Summerland Street.

September 5

Grand Theft (auto) (overnight) - A 1987 Toyota pickup was stolen from the 27000 block of Springcreek Road.

September 6

Residential Burglary (evening) - Person(s) unknown stole U.S. currency and checks from an unlocked safe in an unlocked apartment in the 28100 block of Peacock Ridge Drive.

Felonious Assault (daytime) - A male suspect threatened a male victim with a knife during an altercation between workers in the 26500 block of Hawkhurst Drive.

September 8

Grand Theft - A victim reported that between September 6th and 8th, person(s) unknown stole jewelry from her home in the 26600 block of Whitehorn Drive. There was no sign of forced entry.

September 9

Residential Burglary (daytime) - A male suspect was arrested after stealing U.S. currency from a bedroom at a home in the 2200 block of Rue Le Charlene.

Vehicle Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown broke a window and stole a woman's purse from a vehicle in a parking lot in the 30000 block of Hawthorne Boulevard.
