Weekly Activity Report of December 11 to December 17, 2005
Crimes reported during this time period in the City of Rancho Palos Verdes included one residential burglary, one attempt vehicle burglary, three grand thefts (auto), two grand thefts and one mail theft.

Mail Theft - 1
Grand Theft (nighttime) - A female suspect and a male suspect stole a jack hammer and steel fencing from the bed of a pickup in the 3400 block of Coolheights Drive. The female suspect also stole mail from the victim's mailbox and the suspects fled in a dark colored car.
Grand Theft (weekend) - Person(s) unknown stole two laptop computers from an office at a school in the 30800 block of Palos Verdes Drive East. There was no sign of forced entry.
Residential Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown stole jewelry from a home on Albero Court. There was no sign of forced entry.
Grand Theft (auto) (overnight) - A 2003 Chevrolet Tahoe was stolen from the 2100 block of Summerland Street.
Grand Theft (auto) (overnight) - A 1991 Toyota Camry was stolen from the 2000 block of Jaybrook Drive.
Grand Theft (auto) (evening) - A 2000 Toyota Tundra was stolen from a parking lot in the 29100 block of Western Avenue.
Attempt Vehicle Burglary (nighttime) - Two male suspects opened the hood of a car in the 30500 block of Calle De Suenos, setting off an alarm. Nothing was taken and the suspects fled in a dark colored SUV.
