CRIME SUMMARY

Crimes reported during this time period in the City of Rancho Palos Verdes included three commercial burglaries, one residential burglary, four vehicle burglaries, one petty theft and two acts of vandalism.

ARRESTS

Drunk - 1

January 3

Residential Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown stole a television from a home in the 28600 block of Mount Whitney Way. There was no sign of forced entry.

Commercial Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown stole computer equipment from an office of a business in the 27500 block of Western Avenue. There was no sign of forced entry.

January 5

Vehicle Burglary (nighttime) - A male suspect broke a window and reached inside a car in the 2100 block of Van Karajan Drive. The victim turned on an exterior house light and the suspect fled in a car driven by a second male suspect.

Vehicle Burglary (nighttime) - Person(s) unknown broke two window of two vehicles in the driveway of a home in the 2100 block of Toscanini Drive and stole several items. The victim turned on an exterior house light and heard a vehicle door shut and the vehicle drive away.

Vehicle Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown broke a window and stole a portable television from a vehicle in the 2000 block of Beecham Drive.

Vehicle Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown broke a window and stole a handheld computer and a jacket from a car in the 27800 block of Pontevedra Drive.

Commercial Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown broke a glass door and stole U.S. currency from a business in the 29500 block of Western Avenue.

January 7

Commercial Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown broke a glass door and stole U.S. currency from a business in the 29600 block of Western Avenue.
