CRIME SUMMARY
Crimes reported during this time period in the City of Rancho Palos Verdes included two commercial burglaries, two residential burglaries, three vehicle burglaries, one felonious assault, one grand theft and one act of vandalism.

January 16
Residential Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown stole electronic equipment and a sculpture from a home in the 28600 block of Mount Whitney Way. There was no sign of forced entry.
Residential Burglary - A victim reported that between January 6th and 16th, person(s) unknown broke a window and stole a television from his home in the 30500 block of Cartier Drive.
January 17
Vehicle Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown broke a window and stole numerous items from a car in the 2000 block of Caddington Drive.
January 18
Commercial Burglary (daytime) - A female suspect stole a "pug" puppy from an open business in the 29100 block of Western Avenue. The suspect fled, with two other persons, in a white vehicle. The suspect was stopped and arrested a short time later.
Vehicle Burglary (nighttime) - Person(s) unknown broke a window and stole a cellular phone from a vehicle in the 28000 block of Calzada Drive.
Commercial Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown stole two cellular phones and U.S. currency from two offices at a business in the 30900 block of Hawthorne Boulevard.
Felonious Assault (nighttime) - Two male victims were shot by a male suspect in a passing car while walking on Palos Verdes Drive East between Crest Road and Miraleste Drive.

Vehicle Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown broke a window and stole two briefcases from a vehicle in the parking area of a complex in the 6500 block of Oceancrest Drive.
January 21
Grand Theft (daytime) - Person(s) unknown stole a motorized scooter from the yard of a home in the 1900 block of Caddington Drive.
