Weekly Activity Report for February 5 to February 11, 2006
Crimes reported during this time period in the City of Rancho Palos Verdes included two residential burglaries, one vehicle burglary, one commercial burglary, one other structure burglary, one felonious assault, one grand theft (auto), one grand theft, one attempted grand theft, two petty thefts and one act of vandalism.

Felonious Assault (daytime) - A male suspect struck a male victim on the head with the butt of a pellet gun and also kicked him during an altercation in the 6000 block of Woodfern Drive. The suspect also stole a safebox from the victim's car.
Residential Burglary - A victim reported that between February 3rd and 5th, person(s) unknown stole liquor from a home in he 29300 block of Indian Valley Road. There was no sign of forced entry.
Commercial Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown broke a window and stole liquor from a business in the 28900 block of Western Avenue.
Grand Theft (auto) (overnight) - A 1990 Jeep Cherokee was stolen from the 30600 block of Ganado Drive.
Grand Theft (overnight) - Person(s) unknown cut a chain, opened a gate, and stole trash pumps from the bed of a pickup at a construction site in the 3300 block of Palos Verdes Drive West.
Attempt Grand Theft (overnight) - Person(s) unknown cut a chain and attempted to steal two generators from a construction site in the 30100 block of Palos Verdes Drive West.
Other Structure Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown cut a lock and stole construction equipment from a storage container at a construction site in the 3200 block of Palos Verdes Drive West.
Vehicle Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown stole a cloth bag containing several items from a locked car in the 600 block of Silver Spur Road. There was no sign of forced entry.
Residential Burglary (evening) - Person(s) unknown removed a screen, forced a window open, and stole jewelry and a handbag from a home in the 32000 block of Sea Ridge Drive.
