CRIME SUMMARY

Crimes reported during this time period in the City of Rancho Palos Verdes included one residential burglary, three vehicle burglaries, two grand thefts (auto), one grand theft, one petty theft and two acts of vandalism.

March 12

Vehicle Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown broke a window and stole a woman's purse from a vehicle in the parking lot of a school in the 28900 block of Northbay Road.

March 14

Grand Theft (daytime) - Person(s) unknown cut a cable and stole gardening equipment from a park in the 29200 block of Hawthorne Boulevard.

March 15

Vehicle Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown damaged a door lock and stole a LCD monitor from a vehicle in the 29500 block of Bernice Drive.

March 16

Grand Theft (auto) (overnight) - A 2003 Lexus LS430 was stolen from the parking area of a complex in the 6700 block of Los Verdes Drive.

Grand Theft (auto) (morning) - A male suspect stole a 2003 GMC Yukon from the driveway of a home in the 27800 block of Western Avenue.

March 17

Residential Burglary (daytime) - Two male suspects in a small white car entered the open garage of a home in the 29600 block of Trotwood Avenue. The suspects fled after being seen by the resident.

Vehicle Burglary (daytime) - Two male suspects in a small white car stole a car stereo from a locked car in the 3200 block of Crownview Drive. There was no sign of forced entry. The suspects fled after being seen by the owner.
