Weekly Activity Report for March 19 to March 25, 2006

CRIME SUMMARY

Crimes reported during this time period in the City of Rancho Palos Verdes included two residential burglaries, two vehicle burglaries, one grand theft and one act of vandalism.

ARRESTS

Narcotics Laws - 1

March 21

Vehicle Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown forced a window open and stole a camera and sunglasses from a vehicle in the 1900 block of Upland Street.

March 14

Residential Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown stole an appliance from the garage and several other items from inside of a home in the 3100 block of Crownview Drive. There was no sign of forced entry.

March 22

Grand Theft - A victim reported that between March 15th and 16th, person(s) unknown stole computer equipment from a classroom at a school in the 28900 block of Northbay Road. There was no sign of forced entry.

March 23

Vehicle Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown damaged a door lock and stole a car stereo system and several other items from a vehicle in the 2100 block of Velez Drive.

March 25

Residential Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown removed a window screen and stole U.S. currency, jewelry and a copy machine from a home in the 5500 block of Palos Verdes Drive South.
