CRIME SUMMARY

Crimes reported during this time period in the City of Rancho Palos Verdes included five residential burglaries, six vehicle burglaries, one grand theft, four petty thefts and one act of vandalism.

Residential Burglary (weekend) - A male suspect was arrested after stealing several items from a home in the 30600 block of Via Rivera.

April 4

Vehicle Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown stole a laptop computer from a locked vehicle in a parking lot in the 28900 block of Western Avenue.

April 5

Residential Burglary - A victim reported that between April 1st and 5th, person(s) unknown stole jewelry from her home in the 27800 block of Longhill Drive. There was no sign of forced entry.

Residential Burglary - A victim reported that between April 1st and 5th, person(s) unknown stole several tools and other items from the unlocked garage of a home in the 5600 block of Sunmist Drive.

April 6

Vehicle Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown pried a door open and stole a briefcase and a saw from a vehicle in the 29200 block of Golden Meadow Drive.

Residential Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown stole several items from a house under construction on Saddle Road. There was no sign of forced entry.

April 7

Vehicle Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown broke a window and stole a vehicle manual book from a car in the parking area of a complex in the 32700 block of Coastsite Drive.

Vehicle Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown pried a door open and stole a vehicle manual book, a portable navigation system and several boxes of shoes from a car in the parking area of a complex in the 32700 block of Seagate Drive.

Vehicle Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown cut a convertible top and stole several CD's from a car in the parking area of a complex in the 6600 block of Beachview Drive.

Vehicle Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown unzipped a convertible top window and stole several tools from a vehicle in the parking area of a complex in the 32700 block of Nantasket Drive.

Grand Theft (overnight) - Person(s) unknown stole prescription sunglasses and the vehicle registration from an unlocked car in the parking area of a complex in the 32700 block of Nantasket Drive.

April 8

Residential Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown stole several items from a house in the 5500 block of Bayridge Road. There was no sign of forced entry.
