CRIME SUMMARY

Crimes reported during this time period in the City of Rancho Palos Verdes included one attempt murder, one residential burglary, four vehicle burglaries and three acts of vandalism.

Attempt Murder (daytime) - A female suspect stabbed a female victim several times at an apartment in the 32600 block of Nantasket Drive.

May 2

Vehicle Burglary - A victim reported that between April 30th and April 2nd, person(s) unknown stole several items from his locked vehicle at Hawthorne Boulevard and Mesaba Drive.

Residential Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown stole U.S. currency from a home on Saddle Road. There was no sign of forced entry.

Vehicle Burglary - Person(s) unknown broke a window and stole a woman's purse from a vehicle in a parking lot in the 28900 block of Western Avenue.

Vehicle Burglary - Person(s) unknown broke a window and stole a woman's purse and a make-up bag from a vehicle in the 28600 block of Mount Rose Road.

Vehicle Burglary - Person(s) unknown broke a window and stole a back pack from a vehicle in a parking lot in the 28900 block of Western Avenue.
