Weekly Activity Report for June 4 to June 10, 2006

CRIME SUMMARY

Crimes reported during this time period in the City of Rancho Palos Verdes included two vehicle burglaries, one commercial burglary, one felonious assault, two grand thefts (auto), one grand theft, two petty thefts and two acts of vandalism.

ARRESTS

Drunk Driving - 2

June 4

Felonious Assault (daytime) - A male victim was punched on the eye by a male
suspect as he walked near Basswood Avenue and Littlebow Avenue. The suspect fled in a white van.

Grand Theft (auto) (daytime) - A 2003 Toyota pickup was stolen from a parking lot in the 28900 block of Western Avenue.

June 5

Vehicle Burglary - A victim reported that between June 3rd and 5th, person(s) unknown cut a padlock and stole several items from a trailer in the driveway of a home on Via Del Cielo.

June 7

Grand Theft (auto) (overnight) - A 2003 Cadillac Escalade was stolen from the driveway of a home in the 4000 block of Dauntless Drive.

Commercial Burglary (evening) - Person(s) unknown stole car keys from an unsecured locker at a business in the 28900 block of Western Avenue. The suspect then stole the victim's car from the parking lot outside.

June 8

Vehicle Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown broke a window and stole a woman's purse from a vehicle in a parking lot in the 28900 block of Western Avenue.

June 10

Grand Theft - A victim reported that between June 7th and 10th, person(s) unknown stole his toolbox from the yard of his home in the 28900 block of Moro Bay Drive.
