CRIME SUMMARY

Crimes reported during this time period in the City of Rancho Palos Verdes included eight vehicle burglaries, one attempt vehicle burglary, two petty thefts and three acts of vandalism.

Vehicle Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown broke a window and stole numerous items from a vehicle parked at Eastview Park in the 1700 block of Westmont Drive.

Vehicle Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown broke a window and stole a woman's purse from a vehicle parked at Eastview Park in the 1700 block of Westmont Drive.

June 14

Vehicle Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown broke a window and stole a battery and other engine parts from a car in the parking lot in the 27700 block of Hawthorne Boulevard.

June 16

Attempt Vehicle Burglary - A victim reported that on June 8th, person(s) unknown damaged a door and door lock in an attempt to enter a vehicle in the 32200 block of Phantom Drive.

Vehicle Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown stole an "IPOD", car stereo and a remote door opener from a locked car in the parking structure of a complex in the 21800 block of Peacock Ridge Road. There was no sign of forced entry.

Vehicle Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown stole CD's and a remote door opener from a locked vehicle in the parking structure of a complex in the 21800 block of Peacock Ridge Road. There was no sign of forced entry.

Vehicle Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown stole CD's and three skateboards from a locked car in the parking structure of a complex in the 21800 block of Peacock Ridge Road. There was no sign of forced entry.

Vehicle Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown broke a window and stole several items from a vehicle in the 6900 block of Larkvale Drive.

June 17

Vehicle Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown broke a window and stole a portable music player from a vehicle in the parking structure of a complex in the 6600 block of Beachview Drive.
