CRIME SUMMARY

Crimes reported during this time period in the City of Rancho Palos Verdes included one armed robbery, two residential burglaries, six vehicle burglaries, two grand thefts, four petty thefts, one act of arson and two acts of vandalism.

Vehicle Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown broke a window and stole U.S. currency from a car in the 27900 block of Ridgebrook Court.

Vehicle Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown broke a window and stole two women's purses and several other items from a vehicle parked in the Eastview Park parking lot.

Residential Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown stole baseball equipment from the open garage of a home in the 26100 block of Basswood Avenue.

June 26

Grand Theft (overnight) - Person(s) unknown stole several items from an unlocked car in the driveway of a home in the 28900 block of Scotsview Drive.

Grand Theft - A victim reported that between June 21st and 26th, a former tenant stole furniture and appliances from her home in the 7400 block of Alida Place.

Vehicle Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown broke a window and stole a woman's purse from a vehicle parked in the Eastview Park parking lot.

Vehicle Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown broke a window and stole a woman's purse from a vehicle parked in the Eastview Park parking lot.

Vehicle Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown stole a several items from a locked vehicle in the parking structure of a complex in the 28100 block of Peacock Ridge Road. There was no sign of forced entry.

June 29

Armed Robbery (nighttime) - Two male suspects, armed with handguns, stole a male victim's wallet, cellular phone and jewelry in the 1700 block of Caddington Drive.

June 30

Residential Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown stole a laptop computer from a home in the 27100 block of Woodbrook Road. There was no sign of forced entry.

Arson (nighttime) - A male suspect set a fire in a planter and a laundry in a complex in the 29400 block of Indian Valley Road. The suspect fled in a car driven by another suspect.

July 1

Vehicle Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown stole a navigation system and CD's from a locked car in the parking area of a complex in the 6500 block of Oceancrest Drive. There was no sign of forced entry.
