Commercial Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown stole numerous items from a store in the 22900 block of Western Avenue. There was no sign of forced entry.

July 17

Grand Theft (auto) (overnight) - A 1992 Ford van was stolen from a parking lot in the 6400 block of Palos Verdes Drive South.

Vehicle Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown broke a window and stole a folder containing miscellaneous papers from a car in the 6500 block of Oceancrest Drive.

July 19

Vehicle Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown pried a door lock and stole a car stereo from a car in a parking lot in the 30000 block of Hawthorne Boulevard.

Arson (morning) - Person(s) unknown set a vehicle on fire in the 32000 block of Palos Verdes Drive East.

July 22

Vehicle Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown broke a window and stole an envelope containing miscellaneous papers from a car in the 27000 block of Woodbrook Road.

Residential Burglary (nighttime) - Person(s) unknown stole a woman's purse from a home in the 27900 block of Beechgate Drive. There was no sign of forced entry.
